On Saturday, Nov. 29, former Grand Junction Central High School standout Cash Walker’s current collegiate team the Texas–Permian Basin Falcons won 21-15 against the Western Colorado Mountaineers in the NCAA Division II Football Championship.

The game took place at Mountaineer Bowl at 1 p.m. and was the first matchup against the Western Colorado Mountaineers in the tournament.

The Texas–Permian Basin Falcons’ next game will take place on Saturday, Dec. 6 at 1 p.m. at First Security Stadium.
