On Friday, May 9, former Fruita Monument High School standout Ava Stephens’ current collegiate team the Colorado Mesa Mavericks lost 0-1 against the Angelo State Rams in the NCAA Division II Softball Championship.

The game took place at Schaeffer Park at 5 p.m. and was the second matchup against the Angelo State Rams in the tournament.

The Colorado Mesa Mavericks’ next game will take place on Friday, May 9 at 5 p.m. at Schaeffer Park.
