Former Fruita Monument High School player and current Colorado Mesa Mavericks pitcher, Marisa Nehm, will compete in the NCAA D2 Softball Championship Tournament.

They begin the tournament as a number six seed against the third seeded Colorado Christian Cougars.

The first game is on Thursday, May 9.
