Colorado’s 3rd congressional district includes many rural areas where agriculture plays a significant economic role. Regional airports serve as important infrastructure for these communities by facilitating travel and commerce. In addition to supporting local industries like farming and aviation through public recognition and meetings with stakeholders, Rep. Hurd has also worked on legislation aimed at supporting Native American tribes in wildlife management.
