Rep. Jeff Hurd, a U.S. Congressman representing Colorado’s Third District, recently used his social media platform to highlight his activities and positions during his first year in Congress.

On January 11, 2026, Hurd posted about the release of his annual report: “ICYMI: Last week I released my 2025 Annual Report, outlining my first year in Congress fighting for Colorado’s Third District and holding Washington accountable. From standing up for rural Colorado to backing ranchers, farmers, small businesses, and hardworking families, I’m”.

The following day, January 12, Hurd shared details of his participation at an agricultural meeting: “Yesterday, I joined the Pueblo Farm Bureau’s annual meeting to talk about the future of agriculture in Pueblo and the real challenges facing our producers. Agriculture is the backbone of rural Colorado. Our farmers and ranchers work every day to feed families across the country”.

On January 13, he paid tribute to a former senator from Colorado: “Senator Ben Nighthorse Campbell was a decorated veteran, champion for Native American communities, and a trailblazer in Congress for #CO03. Colorado has lost a remarkable leader, and his legacy will endure. Hear my full speech honoring his life below “.

Congressman Jeff Hurd assumed office as representative for Colorado’s Third Congressional District after winning election in November 2024. The district encompasses much of western and southern Colorado and includes both urban centers like Pueblo as well as large rural areas dependent on agriculture and ranching. Senator Ben Nighthorse Campbell served as U.S. Senator from Colorado from 1993 to 2005; he was known for advocacy on behalf of Native American communities and played a significant role in state politics during his tenure.
