Rep. Jeff Hurd, who represents Colorado’s 3rd congressional district, recently shared several updates and reflections on his official Twitter account.

On December 6, 2025, Rep. Hurd expressed gratitude to his fall interns, stating: “As our fall interns wrap up their time with us this month, I want to thank them for their outstanding work and dedication to serving #CO03. Pictured below are Nick, Libby, and Emily. Every day, they brought tremendous energy and professionalism, handled every task with care, and”.

The following day, December 7, 2025, he commemorated the anniversary of the attack on Pearl Harbor by posting: “84 years ago today, our nation faced a day that would live in infamy. The attack on Pearl Harbor took 2,403 American lives, but it never broke the spirit of a generation that rose to defend freedom. Today we honor their courage and the enduring example they left for our nation.”

On December 8, 2025, Rep. Hurd addressed concerns about rising energy costs in Colorado. He wrote: “If you’re wondering why your energy bills feel like a subscription you can’t cancel, look to the rules no one voted for. When unelected regulators make it more expensive to heat your home in the winter, every Colorado family pays the price.
