Mesa County issued the following announcement on Nov. 26.
Mesa County and United Companies will be constructing improvements on the north side of F Road at West Frontage Road as part of the I-70B and F 1/2 Intersection Improvement Project in Clifton.
The entrance to West Frontage Road will be closed with traffic detoured to 32 Road and up to F 1/4 Road. This closure will affect access to the Park and Ride, RV Ranch, and the Clifton Christian Church. Work in this area will be on-going for the next 2-3 weeks.
The construction is part of the improvements to help traffic flow at a new traffic signal and improve overall traffic operations to the F 1/2 Road and I-70B intersection.
