Mesa County Government issued the following announcement on Dec. 24.
As part of the 18.5 - K.99 Bridge Replacement Project, the existing culvert on 18.5 Road will be removed to install a new box culvert, and elevation enhancements will be made along the road to improve the safety of the public traveling on 18.5 Road.
18.5 Road will be CLOSED starting Jan. 4, 2021, to thru traffic from K.4 Road to L Road. Detours will be posted. Please obey all traffic control signs and use caution while traveling in the work zone.
