Mesa County Government issued the following announcement on Dec. 24.
The intersection is now open and fully operational at Hwy. I-70B and F 1/2 Road, near the main I-70 Clifton Exit 37.
Work on the intersection began Aug. 10, 2020. The improvements include the realignment of F 1/2 Road on the east side of I-70B to help traffic flow to a new traffic signal and improve overall traffic operations.
Crews will be back in the spring to resurface the existing north and southbound lanes approaching the new intersection, and then the project will be officially complete.
