Of the 62,062 people living in Grand Junction city in 2019, 51.4 percent (31,884) were women and 48.6 percent (30,178) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the Grand Junction Times.

Males 18 and over outnumbered females in the same age group by a ratio of 19,266-to-18,992. In the 65 and over age range, there were 6,698 females and 4,612 males.
