Colorado College junior James Settles has been selected the SCAC Men's Cross Country Co-Runner of the Week and senior Kendall Accetta the SCAC Women's Cross Country Runner of the Week for meets ran Friday, September 16 through Saturday, September 17.
Settles, from Claremont, Calif., paced the Tigers for the second consecutive meet, placing 26th at the 2022 Roadrunners Invitational, hosted by Metro State University in Denver, Colo. He covered the 7.8K course in a personal-best time of 24:55.
Settles shared the honor with Will Salony of Trinity University.
Accetta, from Portland, Ore., placed 16th with a time of 22:55.30 over the 6K course at the 2022 Roadrunners Invitational. Accetta has led the Tigers in both races this season.
The Tigers return to action on Saturday, Oct. 1, when they host the 2022 Ted Castaneda Classic at Monument Valley Park North.
