The Brighton Recreation Center will open registration for its Funshine Summer Camp at 7 a.m. Feb. 6. Funshine is a state-licensed summer day program for youth and teens ages 6-12 years old. The camp runs from Monday, June 5 - Friday, July 28 (no camp July 4) at a local 27J School. Weekly activities include swimming at the Brighton Oasis Family Aquatic Park, games, crafts, sports and more. Weekly field trips are also planned.
There are two tiers of programming for the camp:
- Regular hours: 8:30 a.m.- 4 p.m. ($960)
- Extended hours: 7:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. ($1,280)
The program cost includes all field trips, transportation, daily activities and a Funshine T-shirt. More details on the camp will be made available as the date approaches.
To register, please come to the Brighton Recreation Center at 555 N. 11th Avenue.
