Rep. Buck predicts GOP will control House, Senate in 2023

Nut

Akron News Reporter recently issued the following announcement.

U.S. Rep. Ken Buck, R-Windsor, predicted American voters would flip the U.S. House and Senate in November, giving Republicans control of both chambers, during his comments Saturday to the Colorado Republican Party’s Assembly.

“You cannot fix stupid, but you can vote them out of office,” Buck said. “Mark my words, [House Speaker] Nancy Pelosi will be retired in November. [Senate Majority Leader] Chuck Schumer will be in the minority.”

He pledged with a majority Republicans will begin investigations into matters he says are of importance to the country.

“We’ll start investigating the Biden administration in the way it needs to be investigated,” Buck said. “We’ll investigate COVID-19, we’ll investigate political violence in the summer of 2020 and, I think most importantly, we’ll investigate what happened at the southern border when [President] Joe Biden took over.”

He had also previously called for an investigation as to whether the President is compromised by his son, Hunter’s, international business dealings.

Texas Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick has predicted that before Biden’s first term is complete the number of illegal immigrants to the United States will reach a population total greater than that of Texas.

“There’s two questions we need to have answered,” Buck said. “First, did the Biden administration willfully decline to do their duty on the border and, if so, secondly is if willfully failing to execute the laws of the United States of America is an impeachable offense.”

The state of the country is incomparable in the present era of the Biden administration to an era in 2016 when Republicans controlled the U.S. House, Senate and White House, Buck said.

“We cut taxes, we deregulated the economy, we started building a wall on the border and we brought energy independence to America,” he said. “Inflation was low, gas prices were low, unemployment was low, the world was a safe place under Republican rule.”

Buck has seen a reversal of that momentum since January 2021, he told those in attendance at the Colorado Republican Party’s Assembly.

“In the last 18 months, Biden, Pelosi and Schumer have tried to defund and demoralize the police, they shut down our energy and our gas prices are high, they shut down the economy so much inflation is high and the withdrawal from Afghanistan led to the starting of wars,” he said.
